The beauty industry and LGBTQIA+ Community

LGBTQIA+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual.  This is for the first time we are talking about the LGBTQIA+ community but the foundation of our brand was the LGBTQIA+ community and our core values will remain the same in the future. MaGéAu Naturel just not wants to promote the LGBTQIA+ community just in their post that is why we think out of the box.

Beauty is everyone’s right as it is just about creativity, confidence, and freedom. It’s right that today there are so many content creators from the LGBTQIA+ community.  But giving them beauty rights is not just enough. They also need and deserve the care that everyone wants. By care, we mean skin care.

Now, there is a variety of products that people use for their skin like cleansers, serums, hand creams, lip balms, etc. Therefore all our products are gender-neutral which is for all people regardless of their identity. Our products are made up of natural and vegan ingredients and are wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. While offering uniqueness in our products we also want to make the world sustainable. That is why we offer our products in a glass container. This is our small step towards making a plastic-free world.

Makeup and other beauty brands are exclusively for men and women but it’s the 20th century it’s time to identify the other beautiful parts of our society. Creating a space where everyone will feel seen. Create independent beauty and skin care products where every person feels represented regardless of their age, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, or size. Instead of creating unrealistic beauty standards that could only serve a small fraction of the population.

According to statistics, 75% of the people from the LGBTQIA+ community have to face negative comments related to their identity at the workplace and in family and public gatherings. There should be no tolerance policy for gender and sex discrimination. Creating some sought of brands to represent the LGBTQIA+ community is not only the way there are some other ways through which you can support the LGBTQ+ community.

  1.     Cast models and brand ambassadors from the LGBTQ+ community.
  2.     Use gender-neutral packaging for your business.
  3.     Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
  4.     Use gender-neutral language
  5.     Make restrooms for non-gender.
  6.     Hire and work with the LGBTQ+ community.
  7.     Give training to your staff on how to speak and behave with the LGBTQ+ community.

Beauty brands showcase their products through models that are very slim and handsome so that the ads and campaigns can attract a wider audience. But we need to refine our beauty norms because everyone is not perfect. Our core mission is to make you feel good about your skin, size, gender, and appearance. So that you can feel confident and happy the way you are.

If you still have any questions related to our products or have any idea how we can prompt the LGBTQ+ community do share with us. Till then love yourself and be happy.
